Colimata Announces The Legendary CONCORDE!

That ain’t a joke guys. An hour ago developer Colimata announced the development of the legendary supersonic jet Aérospatiale-BAC Concorde. See the full announcement:

having years of experience in developing supersonic fighter jets, it was time to start with a legendary supersonic airliner. Concorde. I started a few months ago in parallel to my other projects. Now I can show you some early images of the aircraft, it’s cockpit and the flight model in X-Plane 11 (XP11 only). This is work in progress. Concorde will be further developed by a small team in the next 9 to 12 months. The big challenges are it’s subsonic and supersonic flight model, autopilot and navigation. The aircraft will be around the 50$ range and offer great features as our fighter jets. Like custom 3D sound, very good graphics, and reasonable system depth. Many details are still to decide. I keep you up to date in the next months.

Best regards

Isn’t this effin awesome??? First the A320 by FlightFactor, now the Concorde by Colimata. X-Plane is closing the gap to its competitors and – I firmly believe so – is about to surpass them! Great times to live in, indeed!

That effin awesome indeed, if this turns out well than a good 744 will be the only thing that ESP has that I miss in X-Plane and hopefull someone will fix that eventually as well.ReplyCancel

I will only be satisfied when Majestic and PMDG port their Dash/NGX to XP. When this happens, and I expect this to happen eventually, then I am happy for good!ReplyCancel

I used to want for PMDG to port the NGX, but with Zibo mod getting closer and closer to it every day in terms of systems and actually being better in every other aspect already, I am not sure I would pay for PMDG one, especially after the DC-6 debacle, actually I am not sure if I would fly it over Zibo it if I had it. I think Jack plans to rework his Dash 8 when he is done with 732 so hopefully that will be good.ReplyCancel
