There’s no doubt X-Plane 11’s default 737 is one of the most popular aircraft the base sim has to offer. Thanks to well known community member Zibo this 737 has already overcome its boundaries. Another development team now joins the crowd and intends to bring this bird to the max. 737 Ultimate was recently announced and claims to offer the following features:

  • 100% freeware
  • Split Scimitars
  • Cargo Hold
  • Functioning Doors
  • Satcom Antennas
  • Color Changing Interior
  • full (and realistic) sky-interior
  • a Boeing 737-700 and 737-900ER variant
  • compatibility with Zibo’s mod is planned

This is another great example of how great this community is and what it can accomplish! See more information and screenshots on the project announcement page here. ETA is said “before year’s end”.
