Just Flight Piper PA-28R Arrow III RELEASED!

One of the most important releases of 2017 just happened. Just Flight, who only recently announced to enter the X-Plane market, just released their Piper PA-28R Arrow III for X-Plane 11! The conversion of this popular product for our platform was made in cooperation with Thranda Design, developer of the popular Kodiak Quest. See the full product announcement:

“Just Flight, in partnership with Thranda Design, are proud to present their first add-on for X-Plane 11 – the PA-28R Arrow III. Following on from their award-winning TB-10 Tobago & TB-20 Trinidad, Tornado GR1, L-1011 Tristar Professional and Canberra PR9 add-ons, this highly detailed simulation of the PA-28R Arrow III has been developed by Just Flight’s in-house team and the team at Thranda Design following comprehensive, hands-on research with a real-life Arrow III, G-BGKU, based at Conington Airfield. The PA-28R Arrow III is a four seater, piston-engine aircraft equipped with a retractable tricycle landing gear and constant-speed propeller – an ideal aircraft for touring and instrument training. The aircraft is flown all around the world and this add-on reflects that global popularity. In addition to our UK research aircraft, G-BGKU, the package features eleven liveries from the USA, Canada, UK, France, Switzerland, Australia and Germany. The PA-28R Arrow III for X-Plane 11 features PBR materials with real-time environment reflections for superb quality and realism, 4096 x 4096 textures for the highest possible texture clarity and numerous animations including a multi-animation passenger door that, when open, responds to G-forces and air resistance.

The full feature list is just ridiculously long, too long to post here. Instead, follow this link for the full feature set and a feature comparison of this beast with its FSX/P3D counterpart.

In case you have any more doubts see this awesome preview video. Just Flight’s Piper PA-28R Arrow III for X-Plane 11 is available for €34.95 directly from Just Flight here. Thanks to Celestino for the tip-off!

So many good releases lately and even more coming. Looks like the lack of addons is no longer an issue in X-Plane and looking at the comparison with P3D version, neither is the quality. The amount of money in my bank account on the other hand is quicky becoming an issue though 😀ReplyCancel

Picked up this beauty last night! Only got around to setting my cameras, and taking in the textures, etc. From the textures alone this is an amazing aircraft. One of the best looking GA I’ve seen so far. Will be flying it out tonight!ReplyCancel
