A few days ago, developer Karl Høybye released Allan & Burrows Island. The two islands Allan and Burrows island are in the state of Washington on the west coast of the US. Burrows island is a small island with a lighthouse and a helipad serving the lighthouse. Allan island features a 750m (2,400ft) long sloped grass runway.

Since it’s Friday evening and I got no place else to go (I know, what a nerd) I thought I could do some pattern work in my new ASDG Piper PA-18 Super Cub! And boy, this grass strip in combination with that superb Super Cub is just plain fun! It’s a challenging short grass strip surrounded by trees in the middle of a tiny island. Perfect to practice that 3-point-landing I suck so much at. I can definitely recommend either of those products. The Piper Cub is available for $42.95 directly from AeroSim here (one of the best GA planes out there, absolutely stunning experience). Allan & Burrows Island are available for just 5.56 (about $6.57) exclusively at let’s sim here. If you are looking for a great immersive experience, these products might be something for you!
